Who am I?

A Qatari writer specializing in English-langued fantasy storytelling. I have published three novels, a comic and one collection of short stories. After years of literary work, I am now venturing into the film industry with two underdeveloped short film scripts.

I’m proud to say that my book, “Wielding Magic” had won gold in the Moonbeam Award 2023 in the YA fiction- fantasy/sci fi category and was a finalist in the American Fiction Award, YA fiction category. 

My writing journey had given me the opportunity to meet a great variety of readers and fellow writers. I had the honor of receiving a residency opportunity at Art Omi in NY, USA and winning a spot twice at the Qumra Film Festival in Qatar.

And this is only the beginning …
